About the Band

The Name:

Really nothing to the name. Greg and I (Tim) were just sitting around and came up with it. It stuck so we use it.

The Story:

Well first of all let me introduce you to the whole band. After that I can tell you how it got started. Chris is our lead guitarist and lead vocals. Then we got Brad, he is the rhythm guitarist. Robert is our 2nd rhythm guitarist and backup vocals. Greg is the bass guitarist, and last but not least there is me. My name is Tim. I am the drummer.

Greg and I started Fraid Knot. They both worked together and just started talking one day and bang they found out they both played music and loved the same kind of music. From that day on we have busted our ass trying to get this thing off the ground. A couple of weeks after Greg and I started talking about it, Greg found a kid who wanted to play with us. So Greg took me to his house to let him hear this kid. Well I thought he was amazing. I could tell he had been playing for a while. Well after about 3 months or so we had about three songs down. We were not doing to well. Things started falling apart and this kid was on the wrong road. Didn't have his head on right. So Greg and I were on the search again. It took us about a month to find another guitarist. This time we found two. Both about my age, and had the same taste in music. I don't want to spend a lot of time talking about the old guys, but I do feel they were an important part. So anyway, we were playing and having a blast these new guitarist were awesome together. We had a pretty good amount of music together. Well about 2 or so months into that we found out they had to go back to college. Which was in South Georgia. We didn't want to have to drive that far to practice so we just gave that up as well.

Now on to the good part. After the break up of Fraid Knot the 2nd time, Greg and I pretty much gave up. We talked every now and then just to see how things were going and we stayed on the friends level. Then I got a new job at HiFi Buys. That is where I met Chris and Brad. Chris and I went to training together and brad was a friend of an employee already at the HiFi-Buys I worked at. Now we cant forget about Robert. Him and I have been friends for ages. I am not even going to get on the story of how we met.

The first time we all played together was a bit rusty. I don't know what it was if it was we just didn't all know each other that well or what. Then as it went on we got better and better. Now we are rocking harder than ever before and loving every second of it. We have played at 2 gigs and working on a huge one coming up soon. I will add more to this as time goes by but for now that is it!
